MEG (Monoethylene glycol) application is in Polyester. MEG Polyester grade is used in the production of polyester fibers and polyethylene terephthalate resin, MEG is used in the production of products such as textiles, cables, video tapes, and water and beverage bottles. The solubility of MEG material for cellulose esters increases by adding ketones or halogenated hydrocarbons. MEG is used in the cosmetics industry as a perfume stabilizer and also as a solvent for odorless varnishes.
